Homework 3 consists of three chorale-style excerpts for dictation. Notate the soprano and bass voices and indicate chords with Roman numerals and figured bass. Mark the mixture chords with an asterisk above the staff. Each problem is in a major key and begins with a quarter-note anacursis. On the CD, each problem is played six times, alternating vocal and pioano timbres. If you are working from the web site, be sure to listen to both files so that you learn to take dictation from different timbres.
